Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He wears his red hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, blue shirt, and green tie. He has a golden handlebar mustache and slicked back golden hair. His eyes are hazel.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and expand his business

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a blacksmith and was forced into it by his family

Personality: John is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. John is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.
