Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. John abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Chad never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
