History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Charles was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Detective. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
