Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull green iron scale mail, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired him part-time. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, William learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.

Description: This northern man wears professional attire. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Cory was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Heward lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he sports yellow clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by giants. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.
