History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born in the west to a Farmer, Gomory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
