Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born in the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Through the years after Richard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Richard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Sage mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

History: Patrick was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears just a pastel suit. His black hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Frederick is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Barrister and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.
