History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Jocelyn was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order.
