History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gilbert's homeland. Gilbert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Rolf speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Rolf reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: The child of a Unemployed, who enjoyed hunting, Theobald was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He worked as a nervous Detective and found it very stressful. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.
