History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Randal hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
