History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Justin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Everard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
