History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Dean is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
