Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears yellow robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a club, but if one is not available he will default to his hammer. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and a deep hatred of gnolls

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trym grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Trym was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Trym's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
