History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Raymond was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cartwright. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bricklayer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
