History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born to a Shepherd, his father struggled to pay the bills. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Randal reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
