History: He was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to pay off his debts

Voice: Hard of hearing, loud

Description: He wears a tight fitting tan shirt and pants. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his scythe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Robert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
