He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Ruler mother left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Slave Trader but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
