Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed greataxe, just in case. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Merchant profession.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Manfred took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull white iron scale mail. He has no hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Norman and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
