Description: This malnourished man wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has green eyes and a green hat with a white feather.
Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. During his travels, Hugh and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hugh discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hugh fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: A middle-aged man, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and is pretty ugly. His blonde hair is cut short. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Manfred learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and revenge

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and he perpetually has his shortspear ready. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Human compassion; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He tends to wear a white poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. This gray eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Rolf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: To unite with his brother.
