History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Justin and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Justin discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Justin fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

After coming to the age of reason, Adelard took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
