Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His head has been shaved. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He wears dull yellow sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed kukri, just in case. He is an epitome of beauty. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. Recently the stress of being a Roofer has made it difficult for him to sleep.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a dilettante again

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. A true patriot, Randal would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has worked as a Animal Trainer like his mother before him.
