Personality: He is a Bowyer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Shoemaker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Courier born in the past three hundred years. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Guy lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he feels threatened by others
