History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barkeep, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gomory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
