History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Roofer. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world.
