Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This late middle aged man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment and is in decent physical shape. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Soapmaker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Roger was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and further expansion of business

Description: He wears grey trousers with brown and white striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts, and he perpetually has his kukri ready. His hair is golden and curly. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He worked as a nervous Apothecary and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hunter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a brown tunic with white highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. His hair is short and golden. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he's looking for his big break
