History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Aristocrat school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cartwright.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. A true patriot, Gilbert would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
