History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He tends to his Glassblower job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He became a Carter soon after.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
