He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Richard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a Ploughman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Rolf was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the west to a Glassblower, Godfrey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: Shane wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by illithids. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
