History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.
