History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Description: An older man who is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. He sports a long silver beard, and similarly colored long hair. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Odo lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is greedy

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
