Description: An older man who wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair is cut short. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.
