He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Gerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Fortune-teller like his father before him.
