The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Chad was born with his mother's beautiful face. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
