History: Adelard was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When Manfred reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a Seamstress, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
