History: He was born in the west. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Alex was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Alex's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Hunter was born with his mother's beautiful face. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Guard. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Guy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to open a new tavern
