History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He carries with him a set of crossbows, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has no hair. He has gray eyes and a yellow hat with a tan feather.

Personality: Roland wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He also hits on men, regardless of circumstances.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Gerald was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the right. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Miller who has hired him part-time. Diggory enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Miller. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shipwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Shipwright.
