Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Assassin job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and balancing his hectic life and new assassin responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and sabotage a competitor
