History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.
