History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Bowyer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Ruler business.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp.
