Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a Assassin, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Shane was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shane's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Shane never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has never given up on his writing dream.
