He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A freak accident while working with his Barrister father left him crippled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and doesn't want to be a doctor and was forced into it by his family

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Simon's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in the north to a Jeweler, Simon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Jeweler.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now owns his own business.
