History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by giants. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sculptor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
