History: Miles was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He wears his silver hair down. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born in the west. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His chestnut hair is lengthy. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Robert hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This slender man stands about 6'1". He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Gilbert is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the west to a Shipwright, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shipwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.
