The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
