Alex Barney, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He wears his brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Ploughman who has hired him part-time. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. During his travels, Alex and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Alex discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Alex fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
