History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Don never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
