Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Carter. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Carter soon after.

History: Anselm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
