Personality: Manfred speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Miller.

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has wavy white hair. His ears are large.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kyle does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: He prefers to wear flannel. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jocelyn's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A freak accident while working with his Locksmith mother left him crippled. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
