History: William was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Sellsword. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sellsword.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to be a doctor again

Personality: Nicholas is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Bookbinder and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Ruler father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
