History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Arnold was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Arnold's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
