Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
